Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
SeenWithin is built around personal reflection. We recognize that what you share with us about yourself and your relationships can be deeply personal. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Who we are
SeenWithin is a relational intelligence platform. For privacy questions or requests, contact us or email hello@seenwithin.co.
2. What we collect
We collect information you provide directly and limited information generated through your use of SeenWithin:
- —Account information: Email address, authentication details, and account preferences.
- —Profile information: Your name, pronouns, relationship context, and other information you choose to provide.
- —Assessment responses: Your answers to SeenWithin assessments and information derived from them — including scores, relational archetypes, and results used to generate your reports. This information may reflect personal details about your experiences, communication patterns, and relationships.
- —Relational Map information: Information needed to send invitations, connect accounts, and generate a shared Map when both participants have completed the required steps.
- —Transaction information: Payments are processed by Stripe. SeenWithin does not store your full payment-card number. We receive transaction details such as amount paid and status for accounting and support purposes.
- —Usage information: Basic information about how you use SeenWithin — such as pages visited, device type, and error logs — used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve SeenWithin — including generating your reports, managing your account, processing purchases, and responding to support requests.
Generating your Relational Portrait and Relational Map requires sending your assessment responses to Anthropic, whose technology is used to generate the written content of your reports. Anthropic processes this information on our behalf subject to their data processing terms. Your responses are not used to train their models.
We do not use your assessment responses to diagnose mental-health or medical conditions, and we do not use your personal information for advertising.
4. What we do not do
- —We do not sell your personal information.
- —We do not use your assessment responses for advertising.
- —We do not share your private Relational Portrait or individual assessment responses with your Map partner.
- —We do not store your full payment-card number.
5. Relational Maps and shared information
When you invite someone to create a Relational Map, your relational archetype is shared with them as part of the invitation. Your private Portrait and individual assessment responses are never shared with your Map partner.
The resulting Map is visible to both participants. You should only create a Map with someone you are comfortable sharing that relational analysis with.
6. Service providers
We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate SeenWithin. They process information on our behalf for specific purposes:
- —Anthropic: Technology used to generate the written content of your Relational Portrait and Map reports.
- —Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure.
- —Stripe: Payment processing.
- —Resend: Transactional and service-related email.
- —Vercel: Website hosting and deployment.
- —Google Analytics / PostHog: Product analytics to understand how SeenWithin is used and improve the experience.
We do not treat service providers processing information on our behalf as a sale of your personal information.
7. Cookies and analytics
SeenWithin uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, authenticate users, and understand basic product performance. We use Google Analytics and PostHog for product analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies to build advertising profiles about you.
8. Data retention and security
We retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide SeenWithin. If you delete your account, we will generally delete or de-identify your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account may have been compromised, please contact us immediately.
